What's New?


In December 2007, I and my colleague, Prof. Paul Flanagan, conducted
a
Usability Study of the National Defense University's main academic
management system, UNET:

















In November I delivered an invited address to the United States
General Accountability Office in Washington DC on the topic:
"Challenging 8 Human Capital Assumptions".  The presentation can be

In September 2007 I, and my associates at George Mason University,
conducted a two day R.O.P.E.S. workshop on organizational problem
solving and team building with the Logistics Directorate of  the Joint
Chiefs of Staff (http://www.jcs.mil/j4/index.html).






























From March through November of 2007, I and several of my colleagues
assisted the Citizenship and Immigration Services component of the
Department of Homeland Security in the creation of an executive
decision making and leadership development course. The course has
been offered to over 120 senior managers in the CIS, the FBI, the State
Department and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
office.











In June, my colleague Professor Dwight Toavs and I conducted a week
long executive seminar to members of the United States Joint Forces
Command located in Norfolk, Virginia on the topic of eGovernment.









In early 2006, I conducted an analysis of an organizational climate
survey administered by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management
Institute (DEOMI) for the National Defense University.







Also in early 2006, I designed and conducted an 8 hour organizational
decision making style workshop for the Defense High Performance
Computing Modernization Program  management team.

Overview
I have been formally trained as an Industrial/Organizational
Psychologist and a Human Factors Engineer (Ergonomist). My
teaching, research and consulting services revolve around helping
others achieve and sustain maximum human performance in
themselves and in complex and high technology organizations.
What I Do
I offer speaking, research and consulting services to profit, non-profit
and public organizations. From designing tailor-made organizational
surveys to conducting outward-bound, high adventure R.O.P.E.S.
experiences, to coaching high potential leaders, I will help you get the
best out of yourself and your staff.
